About the data

Listings come from public health-department records: NJ DOH youth camp permits (Active only), NYC DOHMH child care and camp data on NYC Open Data (last updated by the city in 2023), Suffolk County DOH 2026 camp inspection data, and the Westchester County DOH permitted camp list. Ages, type, activities and websites come from each camp's own website, and we link the page we used. Fields we couldn't confirm are left blank. We don't guess.
